GOLDEN PROMISE OF JESUS

GOLDEN PROMISE OF JESUS

I come as a King to live among His people, but not for the purpose of levying taxes and heaping burdens upon you. No, no! I come because I want your will, your miseries, your weaknesses, all your evils.

My sovereignty is really this: I want everything that distresses you and causes you to be unhappy and restless so that I can hide it within My Love and burn it all away. As the beneficent, pacific, and magnanimous King that I am, I want to exchange My Will for yours, filling you with My most tender Love, with My riches and happiness,

with My peace and most pure joy.

If you will give Me your will, all will be done just as I have said; and you will make Me happy, and you will be happy too.
I long for nothing else than for My Will to reign among you.
Heaven and earth will be smiling at you. My Heavenly Mama will be sure to be a
Mother and Queen to you…

Tears of Our Lady Chaplet

Link to the Chaplet

Sister Amalia suffered the stigmata, (the wounds of Christ)
Prostrated before the Blessed Sacrament, she asked the Lord: What do you want me to do?

Jesús responded: if you wish to receive this grace, ask me through the tears of my Mother.

She asked: And how must I pray?

Jesús replied with these invocations: Oh Jesus, look upon the tears of her who loved You most on earth and loves You most ardently in Heaven.

After these affirmations, Jesus said to Sister Amalia: My daughter. Anything that anyone asks me through the tears of my Mother, I will grant it with much love. Later on, my Mother will give your this treasure for our beloved Institute (her congregation) as a magnet of Mercy.

From the Book of Heaven
V26 – Apr. 7, 1929 – “Look and listen, My daughter Luisa:  in the beginning, when Adam and Eve were Created, Eden was given to them as their Dwelling, in which they were Happy and Holy.  This Garden is a simile of that Eden, though it is not as Beautiful and Flowery.  Now, Know that I have permitted your coming to this house, that is surrounded by a garden, for you to be the New Eve; not Eve the tempter, who deserved to be put out of Happy Eden, but Eve the Reformer and the Restorer, who will call again the Kingdom of My Divine Will upon earth.
“Ah! Yes, you Luisa will be the Seed, the Cement on the woodworm that the human will has; you Luisa will be the Beginning of a New Happy Era, and this is why I Centralize in you Luisa the Joy, the Goods, the Happiness of the Beginning of Creation, and I Love to Repeat the Conversations, the Lessons, the Instructions that I would have given if man had not withdrawn from Our Divine Will.  Therefore, be Attentive, and let your Flight in It be Continuous.”

V12 – Jan. 7, 1921 – “My daughter Luisa, do you see how much I Love you? I Wanted to Fill All your heart with the Milk of Grace and of Love; so, Everything you will say and do, will be nothing other than the Outpouring of the Grace with which I Filled you. You will do nothing – you will just place your volition at the Mercy of My Will, and I will do Everything. You will be nothing but the Sound of My Voice, the Bearer of My Will, the Destroyer of the Virtues in a human manner, and the Restorer of the Virtues in a Divine Manner, which are Founded on an Eternal, Immense, Infinite Point.”

Acts 3:19-21
[19] Be penitent, therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out. [20] That when the times of refreshment shall come from the presence of the Lord, and he shall send him who hath been preached unto you, Jesus Christ,
[21] Whom heaven indeed must receive, until the times of the restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of his holy prophets, from the beginning of the world.

THE LAST WORDS OF LUISA PICCARRETA, HER SPIRITUAL TESTIMONY
March 4, 1947
“Now I die with greater contentment, because the Divine Will has consoled me more than usual with Its presence in these last few moments of my life.

“Now I see a long, beautiful and spacious road, all illuminated by an infinite number of resplendent suns – Oh, yes, I recognize them! They are all my acts done in the Divine Will!

“This is the road that I must now take; it is the road that the Divine Will has prepared for me. It’s the road of my victory: it’s the way of my glory, which will unite me with the immense happiness of the Divine Will.

“It’s my road; it’s the road that I have prepared for you. It’s the road that I will keep reserved for all the souls who will ever want to live in the Divine Will.

Our Lady of Lourdes – Feast Day 2/11

A Reflection on Our Lady of Lourdes

On December 8, 1854, Pope Pius IX proclaimed the dogma of the Immaculate Conception in the apostolic constitution Ineffabilis Deus. A little more than three years later, on February 11, 1858, a young lady appeared to Bernadette Soubirous. This began a series of visions. During the apparition on March 25, the lady identified herself with the words: “I am the Immaculate Conception.”

Bernadette was a sickly child of poor parents. Their practice of the Catholic faith was scarcely more than lukewarm. Bernadette could pray the Our Father, the Hail Mary and the Creed. She also knew the prayer of the Miraculous Medal: “O Mary conceived without sin.”

During interrogations Bernadette gave an account of what she saw. It was “something white in the shape of a girl.” She used the word aquero, a dialect term meaning “this thing.” It was “a pretty young girl with a rosary over her arm.” Her white robe was encircled by a blue girdle. She wore a white veil. There was a yellow rose on each foot. A rosary was in her hand. Bernadette was also impressed by the fact that the lady did not use the informal form of address (tu), but the polite form (vous). The humble virgin appeared to a humble girl and treated her with dignity.

Through that humble girl, Mary revitalized and continues to revitalize the faith of millions of people. People began to flock to Lourdes from other parts of France and from all over the world. In 1862 Church authorities confirmed the authenticity of the apparitions and authorized the cult of Our Lady of Lourdes for the diocese. The Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes became worldwide in 1907.

The Divine Will is beginning, means and end of every Virtue

Mathew 13 31:32 (New Revised Standard Version Catholic Edition (NRSVCE))

The Parable of the Mustard Seed
31 He put before them another parable: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed that someone took and sowed in his field; 32 it is the smallest of all the seeds, but when it has grown it is the greatest of shrubs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and make nests in its branches.”

November 28, 1922
The Divine Will is beginning, means and end of every virtue, and must be crown of everything and fulfillment of the glory of God on the part of the creature.

I was praying, fusing all of myself in the Most Holy Will of God, and with some doubts in my mind concerning all that my sweet Jesus keeps telling me about this Most Holy Volition.  And He, clasping me to Himself, with a light which He cast into my mind, told me:  “My daughter, My Will is beginning, means and end of every virtue; without the seed of My Will, it cannot be given the name of true virtue.  It is like the seed for the plant:  after it has sunk its roots into the ground, the deeper they are, the higher the tree becomes, which the seed contains.  So, first there is the seed; this forms the roots; the roots have the strength to make the plant sprout from under the earth; and as the roots sink into it, the branches are formed, which keep growing so high as to form a beautiful crown.  And this will form the glory of the tree which, unloading abundant fruits, will form the profit and the glory of the one who sowed the seed.

This is the image of my Church.  The seed is My Will, in which She was born and raised.  But in order for the tree to grow, it takes time; and in order for some trees to give fruit, it takes the length of centuries – the more precious the plant is, the longer it takes.  The same for the tree of My Will which, being the most precious, the most noble and divine, the highest, needed time in order to grow and make its fruits known.  So, the Church has known the seed, and there is no sanctity without it; then She has known the branches, but it is always around this tree that She has been turning.  Now She must know the fruits in order to nourish Herself and to enjoy them; and this will be all My Glory and My Crown, as well as of all virtues and of the entire Church.

Now, what is your wonder, if instead of manifesting the fruits of My Will before, I have manifested them to you after so many centuries?  If the tree had not yet formed, how could I make the fruits known?  All things go this way:  if someone is to be made a king, the king is not crowned before the kingdom, the army, the ministers and the royal palace are formed – he is crowned at the very end.  And if anyone wanted to crown the king without forming the kingdom, the army, etc., that would be a king for mockery.  Now, My Will was to be crown of everything and fulfillment of My Glory on the part of the creature, because only in My Will can she say:  ‘I have accomplished everything’.  And I, finding in her, accomplished, everything I want, not only do I make her know the fruits, but I nourish her and I make her reach such height as to surpass everyone.  This is why I love so much and I have so much interest that the fruits, the effects, the immense goods contained in My Will, and the great good that the soul receives by living in It, be known.  If they are not known, how can they be desired?  Much less can anyone be nourished by them.  And if I did not make known the living in My Will – what it means, the values it contains – the crown would be missing to Creation and to the virtues, and My Work would be a work without crown.  See, then, how necessary it is that everything I have told you about My Will be manifested and known; and also the reason for which I push you so much, and how I always make you go outside the order of others; and if these, as well as the graces given to them, I make known after their death, with you, instead, I allow that what I have told you about My Will be known while you are still living.  If It is not known, It will not be appreciated, nor loved.  Knowledge will be like manure for the tree, which will make the fruits season; and once they are well matured, the creatures will nourish themselves from them.  What will be My contentment and yours?”

Blessing of Christmas Tree

christmas-treeBlessing of Christmas Tree

This blessing may be made by any family, led by one of the parents or one of the children.

Verse.  Our help is in the name of the Lord.

Response.  Who hath made heaven and earth.

All say the antiphon:

Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy before the Lord, for He is come.

PSALM 95

Sing unto the Lord a new song; * Sing unto the Lord, all the earth.

Sing unto the Lord, bless His name, * Proclaim His salvation from day to day.

Declare His glory among the Gentiles, * His marvelous works among all the peoples.

For great is the Lord, and highly to be praised; * He is to be feared above all gods.

For all the gods of the peoples are idols, * But the Lord made the heavens.

Honor and majesty are before Him: * Strength and beauty are in His sanctuary.

Give to the Lord, ye kindreds of the peoples, * Give to the Lord glory and strength.  * Give to the Lord the glory due unto His name.

Offer sacrifice, and come into His courts. * O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness.

Tremble before Him, all the earth. * Say among the heathen: ‘The Lord Reigneth.’

The world also is established that it cannot be moved; * He will judge the peoples with equity.

Let the heavens be glad and let the earth rejoice; * Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof;

Let the field exult, and all that is therein. *Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy;

Before the Lord, for He is come; * For He is come to judge the earth.

He will judge the world with righteousness, * And the peoples in His truth.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, * and to the Holy Ghost.

As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be; * world without end.  Amen

The antiphon is repeated:

Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy before the Lord, for He is come.

A member of the family reads the following Lesson from the Prophet Ezechiel (xvii, 22-24):

Thus saith the Lord God:  I Myself will take the top of the high cedar, and will set it:  I will crop off a tender twig from the top of the branches thereof, and I will plant it on a mountain high and eminent.  On the high mountains of Israel will I plant it, and it shall shoot forth into branches, and shall bear fruit, and it shall become a great cedar; and all birds shall dwell under it, and every fowl shall make its nest under the shadow of the branches thereof. And all the trees of the country shall know that I the Lord have brought down the high tree, and exalted the low tree; and have dried up the green tree, and have caused the dry tree to flourish.  I the Lord have spoken and have done it.

  1. Thanks be to God.
  2. And there shall come forth a shoot.
  3. Out of the root of Jesse.
  4. In Him was life.
  5. And the life was the light of men.
  6. O Lord hear my prayer.
  7. And let my cry come unto Thee.
  8. The Lord be with you.
  9. And with thy spirit.

Let us pray:

Holy Lord, Father Almighty, Eternal God, who hast caused Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, to be planted like a tree of life in Thy Church by being born of the Most Holy Virgin Mary, bless, we beseech Thee, this tree that all who see it may be filled with a holy desire to be ingrafted as living branches into the same Lord Jesus Christ, who liveth and reigneth with Thee, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, God, world without end.

Amen.

Feast of the Miraculous Medal Nov. 27, 2018

Miraculous Medal Story

From The Association of the Miraculous Medal

The Blessed Virgin herself designed the Medal of the Immaculate Conception—popularly known as the Miraculous Medal! No wonder, then, that it wins such extraordinary graces for those who wear it and pray for Mary’s intercession and help.

The First Apparition

The story begins on the night of July 18-19, 1830. A child (perhaps her guardian angel) awakened Sister (now Saint) Catherine Labouré, a novice in the community of the Daughters of Charity in Paris, and summoned her to the chapel. There she met with the Virgin Mary and spoke with her for several hours. During the conversation, Mary said to her, “My child, I am going to give you a mission.”

The Second Apparition

Mary gave her this mission in a vision during evening meditation on November 27, 1830. She saw Mary standing on what seemed to be half a globe and holding a golden globe in her hands as if offering it to heaven. On the globe was the word “France,” and our Lady explained that the globe represented the whole world, but especially France. The times were difficult in France, especially for the poor who were unemployed and often refugees from the many wars of the time. France was first to expe

rience many of those troubles which ultimately reached other parts of the world and are even present today. Streaming from rings on Mary’s fingers as she held the globe were many rays of light. Mary explained that the rays symbolize the graces she obtains for those who ask for them. However, some of the gems on the rings were dark, and Mary explained that the rays and graces were available but did not come because no one had asked for them.

The Third Apparition and the Miraculous Medal

The vision then changed to show our Lady standing on a globe with her arms now outstretched and with the dazzling rays of light still streaming from her fingers. Framing the figure was an inscription: O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee.

The Meaning of the Front Side of the Miraculous Medal

Mary is standing upon a globe, crushing the head of a serpent beneath her foot. She stands upon the globe, as the Queen of Heaven and Earth. Her feet crush the serpent to proclaim Satan and all his followers are helpless before her (Gn 3:15). The year of 1830 on the Miraculous Medal is the year the Blessed Mother gave the design of the Miraculous Medal to

Saint Catherine Labouré. The reference to Mary conceived without sin supports the dogma of the Immaculate Conception of Mary—not to be confused with the virgin birth of Jesus, and referring to Mary’s sinlessness, “full of grace” and “blessed among women” (Luke 1:28)—that was proclaimed 24 years later in 1854.

The vision turned and showed the design of the reverse side of the medal. Twelve stars encircled a large “M” from which arose a cross. Below are two hearts with flames arising from them. Thorns encircle one heart and a sword pierces the other.

The Meaning of the Back Side of the Miraculous Medal

The twelve stars can refer to the Apostles, who represent the entire Church as it surrounds Mary. They also recall the vision of Saint John, writer of the Book of Revelation (12:1), in which “a great sign appeared in heaven, a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and on her head a crown of 12 stars.” The cross can symbolize Christ and our redemption, with the bar under the cross a sign of the earth. The “M” stands for Mary, and the interleaving of her initial and the cross shows Mary’s close involvement with Jesus and our world. In this, we see Mary’s part in our salvation and her role as mother of the Church. The two hearts represent the love of Jesus and Mary for us. (See also Lk 2:35).

Then Mary spoke to Catherine: “Have a medal struck upon this model. Those who wear it will receive great graces, especially if they wear it around the neck.” Catherine explained the entire series of apparitions to her confessor, and she worked through him to carry out Mary’s instructions. She did not reveal that she received the Medal until soon before her death 47 years later.

With approval of the Church, the first Medals were made in 1832 and were distributed in Paris. Almost immediately the blessings that Mary had promised began to shower down on those who wore her Medal. The devotion spread like wildfire. Marvels of grace and health, peace and prosperity, followed in its wake. Before long people were calling it the “Miraculous” Medal. In 1836, a canonical inquiry undertaken at Paris declared the apparitions to be genuine.

There is no superstition, nothing of magic, connected with the Miraculous Medal. The Miraculous Medal is not a “good-luck charm”. Rather, it is a great testimony to faith and the power of trusting prayer. Its greatest miracles are those of patience, forgiveness, repentance, and faith. God uses a Medal, not as a sacrament, but as an agent, an instrument, in bringing to pass certain marvelous results. “The weak things of this earth hath God chosen to confound the strong.”

When our Blessed Mother gave the design of the medal to Saint Catherine Labouré she said, “Now it must be given to the whole world and to every person.”

A PRAYER FOR FR. BUCCI

LUISA’S DANGER OF DEATH PRAYER FOR FR. BUCCI

VOL. 35 – February 20, 1938

Jesus became silent, and I remained with the scene before my mind of so many Jesuses for as many existing creatures. But I carried a thorn inside my heart that tortured me and embittered me – down to the marrow of my bones – for a person very dear to me, and necessary to my poor existence, who was in danger of death (FR. BUCCI); and I wanted to save this person (FR. BUCCI) at any cost. Therefore I took the Divine Will, I made It all mine, and in my sorrow I said: ‘Jesus, your Will is mine; your Power and Immensity are in my power. I do not want this, and You must not want it either.’ My God, I felt I was battling with a Power; and in order to win, my mind brought itself before the Divinity, and I placed around It the expanse of the heavens with all the stars in prayer, the vastness of the light of the sun with the might of its heat, the entire Creation – in prayer; and then the seas of Love and Power of the Queen of Heaven, the pains and the Blood shed by Jesus, like many seas around the Divinity – all in prayer; and then the many Jesuses of each creature, so that they might have a sigh, a plea, to obtain what I wanted. But what was not my surprise and emotion together, in seeing and hearing that the many Jesuses of each creature were praying to obtain what I wanted? I remained confounded in seeing so much divine goodness and compliance. May He be always thanked and blessed; and may everything be for His Glory.
